Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy

Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy was one of three clubs from Zambia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy, 130 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy could be found in Group 28 together with Ulricehamns IFK, Partille IF and Gimse IL. Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Örgryte IS with 0-1. In the Final, Entente Sannois Saint Gratien won over Örgryte IS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy comes from LUSAKA which lies approximately 8300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
