Noujoumi FC

Noujoumi FC was one of 9 clubs from Lebanon that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Noujoumi FC, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Noujoumi FC could be found in Group 13 together with University of Pretoria 2, IFK Eskilstuna and Lerums IS. Noujoumi FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hampton FC with 0-3. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Noujoumi FC comes from P.O Box 16 which lies approximately 5700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around P.O Box 16 does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (F.C. Beirut, Athletico SC, Hoops, O Berytus, Samaya FA, ZFA and Aquamarine 2).
