Project Playground FC

Project Playground FC was one of 7 clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Project Playground FC, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Project Playground FC could be found in Group 15 together with IFK Uppsala, Norrby IF and SuS Kaiserau. Project Playground FC made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FK Lillehammer, which they won with 5-4. Thereby Project Playground FC won the entire Play off B in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2017. Project Playground FC comes from Langa which lies approximately 10000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Langa does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (The Rainbow Team, Tramway FC and Lifezone Cape Town).
