Denali Futbol

Denali Futbol was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Denali Futbol, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Denali Futbol could be found in Group 40 together with Braishfield Bees FC, Ödåkra IF 1 and IFK Vaxholm. Denali Futbol continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kallhälls FF with 2-4. In the Final, AC Ajaccio won over CO Vincennes and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Denali Futbol comes from SCARSDALE which lies approximately 6000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around SCARSDALE does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (FC Beyond and FC Connecticut).
