FC Este 2012

FC Este 2012 was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to FC Este 2012, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof FC Este 2012 could be found in Group 12 together with FK Lillehammer, Skövde AIK and University of Pretoria 1. FC Este 2012 continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mölnlycke IF with 0-1. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. FC Este 2012 comes from Hollenstedt which lies approximately 510 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hollenstedt does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: FC Süderelbe, USC Paloma Hamburg, Altona 93, Tsv Eintracht Immenbeck, SV.West-Eimsbüttel, SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, TuS Germania Schnelsen, Niendorfer TSV and SV Uhlenhorst-Adler).
