Union 60

Union 60 was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Union 60, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Union 60 could be found in Group 34 together with Keflavik, FC Järfälla and Åhus Horna BK. Union 60 continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Fet IL with 1-3. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Union 60 comes from Bremen which lies approximately 550 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bremen does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: JFV Weyhe-Stuhr e.V., SG Findorff, FC Gessel-Leerssen, TuS Komet Arsten, TSV Weyhe-Lahausen, JFV Verden/Brunsbrock, JSG Baden/Etelsen, TSV Uesen, FSV Langwedel-Völkersen and SC Borgfeld eV).
