Åhus Horna BK

Åhus Horna BK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åhus Horna BK, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Åhus Horna BK could be found in Group 34 together with Keflavik, FC Järfälla and Union 60. Åhus Horna BK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BK Höllviken Black with 0-2. In the Final, AC Ajaccio won over CO Vincennes and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Åhus Horna comes from Åhus which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Åhus IF, Åsums BK, Nosaby IF, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF and Mjällby AIF).
