IFK Göteborg

In addition to IFK Göteborg, 36 other teams from 14 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Göteborg could be found in Group 3 together with AIK FF, Aberdeen FC and Gamba Osaka. IFK Göteborg continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 1-2. In the Final, Djurgårdens IF won over Jönköpings Södra IF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). IFK Göteborg also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2016. They won Play off B, after beating Kalmar FF in the final with 6-5.
