IF Elfsborg

In addition to IF Elfsborg, 36 other teams from 14 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IF Elfsborg could be found in Group 4 together with BK Häcken, Orsomarso FC and Skonto FC. IF Elfsborg continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Jönköpings Södra IF with 3-4. In the Final, Djurgårdens IF won over Jönköpings Södra IF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). IF Elfsborg also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2016. They won Play off A, after beating Helsingborgs IF in the final with 1-0.
