FORCE North Soccer Club

FORCE North Soccer Club was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FORCE North Soccer Club, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof FORCE North Soccer Club could be found in Group 23 together with Prep School Pumas, Gamla Upsala SK and Stureby SK. FORCE North Soccer Club continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against CA Intercups Mexico with 1-3. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. FORCE North Soccer comes from San Mateo which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around San Mateo does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (EBU Bay Oaks, DeAnza Force North, Palo Alto Soccer Club, SF Sol FC, San Francisco Seals and FORCE Soccer Club).
