Helsingborgs IF

In addition to Helsingborgs IF, 36 other teams from 14 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Helsingborgs IF could be found in Group 1 together with TikiTaka Academy, Hammarby IF FF and Yeovil Town FC. Helsingborgs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 1-3. In the Final, Right to Dream won over TikiTaka Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). Helsingborgs IF also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the final in Play off A, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 0-1 and ended up in second place.
