TikiTaka Academy was one of two clubs from Nigeria that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). In addition to TikiTaka Academy, 36 other teams from 13 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof TikiTaka Academy could be found in Group 1 together with Hammarby IF FF, Helsingborgs IF and Yeovil Town FC. TikiTaka Academy made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Right to Dream with 0-1. Thereby TikiTaka Academy finished second in B17E Play off A during Gothia Cup 2017. TikiTaka Academy also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in B17E Play off A, but lost it against NK KRŠKO with 3-4. TikiTaka Academy comes from Vidblicksgatan 11 A which lies approximately 5400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
