In addition to the three Prep School Pumas teams, 171 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Prep School Pumas 2 could be found in Group 25 together with Athletico SC 2, Academy and Romelanda UF. Prep School Pumas 2 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 2-8. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Prep School Pumas also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 2-6.
