Miramar United Elite

Miramar United Elite was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Miramar United Elite, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Miramar United Elite could be found in Group 6 together with Swindon Town FITC 1, Lindö FF Norrköping and Arboga Södra IF. Miramar United Elite continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against GAIS with 0-4. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Miramar United Elite comes from Miramar which lies approximately 7700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
