Arboga Södra IF

Arboga Södra IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Arboga Södra IF, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Arboga Södra IF could be found in Group 6 together with Swindon Town FITC 1, Miramar United Elite and Lindö FF Norrköping. Arboga Södra IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 1-2. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Arboga Södra IF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against V. Frölunda IF with 0-2. Arboga Södra comes from Arboga which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Arboga does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Örebro SK, Triangelns IK, Vivalla SK, BK Forward, Eskilstuna Södra FF and IF Eker Örebro).
