AFC Apex

AFC Apex was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to AFC Apex, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof AFC Apex could be found in Group 13 together with Nidelv IL, Hvetlanda GIF and Ale United. AFC Apex continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lizzy Football Club with 1-3. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. AFC Apex comes from Salt Lake City which lies approximately 7900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
