Nidelv IL

Nidelv IL was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Nidelv IL, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Nidelv IL could be found in Group 13 together with AFC Apex, Hvetlanda GIF and Ale United. Nidelv IL continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Phoenix Football Academy with 0-1. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Nidelv comes from Trondheim which lies approximately 630 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trondheim does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Gauldal Fotballklubb, IL Vestbyen and Gimse IL).
