Pershagens SK

Pershagens SK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Pershagens SK, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Pershagens SK could be found in Group 8 together with Hipica Campinas, IFK Mariestad and Currie Star FC 3. Pershagens SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Oxie SK 1 with 2-8. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Pershagens SK comes from Södertälje which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Södertälje does also provide 49 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF, Essinge IK and Älvsjö AIK FF).
