Tallboda IF

Tallboda IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Tallboda IF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Tallboda IF could be found in Group 27 together with Hagaströms SK, Habo IF and TGK Worcestershire. Tallboda IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Smedby AIS 2 with 0-3. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Tallboda comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: BK Derby, Mjölby Södra IF, Lindö FF Norrköping, Mantorps FF, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, Mjölby AI/FF, IFK Norrköping, Mjölby FC and Svärtinge SK).
