IFK Knislinge

IFK Knislinge was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IFK Knislinge, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof IFK Knislinge could be found in Group 33 together with FC KR 2 2, Braishfield Bees FC and Vivalla SK. IFK Knislinge continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Oppsal IF 1 with 0-7. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. IFK Knislinge comes from Knislinge which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Knislinge does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Osby, Wisseltofta IF, Åhus Horna BK, IFK Hässleholm, Åhus IF, Åsums BK, Nosaby IF, FC Hessleholm, Vittsjö GIK and Vinslövs IF).
