FC KR 2 2

FC KR 2 was one of 8 clubs from Iceland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FC KR 2, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof FC KR 2 2 could be found in Group 33 together with Braishfield Bees FC, IFK Knislinge and Vivalla SK. FC KR 2 2 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IFK Haninge with 0-8. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. FC KR 2 comes from Skutuvogur 13 A which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skutuvogur 13 A does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (FH, Keflavik, FC KR, KA, Fjolnir, Volsungur and Breidablik).
