Club Paris Mexico

Club Paris Mexico was one of 9 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Club Paris Mexico, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Club Paris Mexico could be found in Group 15 together with Mölnlycke IF, KL Youth Soccer and Aalborg Chang. Club Paris Mexico made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against AS Poissy with 4-5. Thereby Club Paris Mexico finished second in B18 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2016. Paris Mexico comes from Mexico which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mexico does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (A.S. México, La Herradura AC, CA Intercups Mexico and Academy Elite).
