Rockets FC

Rockets FC was one of three clubs from Zambia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Rockets FC, 80 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Rockets FC could be found in Group 11 together with Djurgårdens IF, Norrstrands IF and Tölö IF. Rockets FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against NSA with 1-2. In the Final, Tromsø IL won over Norrstrands IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Other than Rockets FC, the club Zamwill does also originate from the area around .
