FC USA

FC USA was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to FC USA, 48 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof FC USA could be found in Group 7 together with IK Grand Bodø, Ytterby IS and Hertzöga BK. FC USA continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Örby with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Örby won over Smedby AIS and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. FC USA comes from Baltimore which lies approximately 6300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than FC USA, the club ASL SC does also originate from the area around Baltimore.
