IK Grand Bodø

IK Grand Bodø was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IK Grand Bodø, 48 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof IK Grand Bodø could be found in Group 7 together with Ytterby IS, Hertzöga BK and FC USA. IK Grand Bodø continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Vilaverdense FC with 5-7. In the Final, LB07 won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. IK Grand Bodø also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/8 Final in G18 Play off A, but lost it against Jitex Mölndal BK with 1-2. Grand Bodø comes from Bodø which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
