Elm Grove Colts

Elm Grove Colts was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Elm Grove Colts, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Elm Grove Colts could be found in Group 6 together with Stars'n Stripes, AFK Linköping and Alta IF. Elm Grove Colts continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Shimizu S-Pulse with 0-4. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Elm Grove Colts comes from Hearsham which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hearsham does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Prep School Lions, Wycombe D.F.C, Style Soccer FC and Prep School Pumas).
