IFK Skövde

IFK Skövde was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Skövde, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof IFK Skövde could be found in Group 40 together with Köping FF/MDFF, Pateadores SC and Oppsal IF 2. IFK Skövde continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against ED Moratalaz with 0-2. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Skövde comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Tidaholms GIF, Skultorps IF/Våmbs IF, Skultorps IF, Skövde KIK, IFK Falköping FF, Skara FC, Johannesbergs LIF, IFK Skövde FK, Hörnebo SK and Våmbs IF).
