Köping FF/MDFF

Köping FF/MDFF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Köping FF/MDFF, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Köping FF/MDFF could be found in Group 40 together with IFK Skövde, Pateadores SC and Oppsal IF 2. Köping FF/MDFF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Cap Jeune 31 with 0-3. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Köping FF/MDFF comes from Köping which lies approximately 300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Köping does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: BK Sport, Skiljebo SK, Arboga Södra IF, Västerås IK, Forsby FF, Ekeby/Rytterne, Eskilstuna City FK, IF Pluss, Västerås BK30 and IK Franke).
