Spårvägens FF

Spårvägens FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Spårvägens FF, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Spårvägens FF could be found in Group 31 together with TSC Wellingsbüttel, Leiknir and Oppsal IF 1. Spårvägens FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Saanich Fusion FC with 1-3. In the Final, Cayyolu FC won over Hong Kong FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Spårvägens comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Boo FF, Boo IS, Bollstanäs SK, Hammarby IF DFF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, Enskede IK, Årsta FF, Rönninge Salem Fotboll and IF Brommapojkarna).
