ED Moratalaz

ED Moratalaz was one of 13 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to ED Moratalaz, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof ED Moratalaz could be found in Group 16 together with Vallens IF, Academy of Baghdad and IF Brommapojkarna. ED Moratalaz made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Las Vegas Sports Academy with 1-2. Thereby ED Moratalaz finished second in B16 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2016. ED Moratalaz comes from madrid which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around madrid does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Las Rozas CF and C.D. Magerit).
