IFK Falköping FF

IFK Falköping FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Falköping FF, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof IFK Falköping FF could be found in Group 35 together with The Football Academy Dubai, Lillestrøm SK 2 and Smedby AIS. IFK Falköping FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hässleholms IF with 1-2. In the Final, Cayyolu FC won over Hong Kong FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. IFK Falköping comes from Falköping which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falköping does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Tidaholms GIF, Skultorps IF/Våmbs IF, Skultorps IF, Skövde KIK, Skara FC, IFK Skövde, Floby IF, IFK Skövde FK, Våmbs IF and Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom).
