Tranås FF

Tranås FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Tranås FF, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Tranås FF could be found in Group 10 together with Nosaby IF, FC Ajax - Tallinn and Kubikenborgs IF. Tranås FF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FC Saint Cloud 1 with 1-3. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Tranås comes from Tranås which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tranås does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Stångebro United, Mjölby Södra IF, Mjölby AI/FF and Väderstad IK).
