Nosaby IF

Nosaby IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Nosaby IF, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Nosaby IF could be found in Group 10 together with Tranås FF, FC Ajax - Tallinn and Kubikenborgs IF. Nosaby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IK Oddevold with 0-3. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Nosaby comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: FC Hessleholm, Åhus IF, Kristianstad FC, Åhus Horna BK, IFK Hässleholm, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF, Sösdala IF, Kristianstad DFF and BrobyIF/IFK Knislinge).
