Concordia Eschersheim

Concordia Eschersheim was one of 65 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Concordia Eschersheim, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Concordia Eschersheim could be found in Group 5 together with USCH, AS Poissy and Årsunda IF. Concordia Eschersheim continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Atromitos Halandriou with 0-2. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Concordia Eschersheim also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/16 Final in B18 Play off B, but lost it against IF Viken with 1-4. Concordia Eschersheim comes from Frankfurt/Tyskland which lies approximately 870 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Frankfurt/Tyskland does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (TuS Makkabi Frankfurt, TSV Lämmerspiel, KSV Klein-Karben, 1.FC-TSG Königstein and SG Wiking).
