AS Poissy

AS Poissy was one of 21 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to AS Poissy, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof AS Poissy could be found in Group 5 together with Concordia Eschersheim, USCH and Årsunda IF. AS Poissy made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Club Paris Mexico, which they won with 5-4. Thereby AS Poissy won the entire Play off B in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2016. AS Poissy also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/8 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against GAIS with 1-5. AS Poissy comes from Poissy which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Poissy does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Levallois SC, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris, Puteaux CSM, FC Rueil Malmaison, ACBB Paris, Limay Ville, La Salésienne de Paris, FC Saint Cloud, Fc Franconville PB and ASF Le Perreux).
