Asarums IF/FK

Asarums IF/FK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Asarums IF/FK, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Asarums IF/FK could be found in Group 46 together with Kungsbacka IF, FC Gessel-Leerssen, Våg FK and Sioux South Diablos. Asarums IF/FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against BK Sport with 2-3. In the Final, Cayyolu FC won over Hong Kong FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Asarums IF/FK comes from Asarum which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Asarum does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Ronneby BK, Mjällby AIF and Tingsryd United FC).
