Akatlar Football Academy

Akatlar Football Academy was one of three clubs from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Akatlar Football Academy, 194 other teams from 41 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Akatlar Football Academy could be found in Group 43 together with ADC Proença-a-Nova, IF Elfsborg and Spånga IS FK 2. Akatlar Football Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 43. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FISA Jordan with 2-7. In the Final, JSSL Arsenal Singapore won over Barkarö SK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Akatlar Football Academy comes from İstanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Akatlar Football Academy, the club Performance Football Academy does also originate from the area around İstanbul.
