Stångebro United

Stångebro United was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Stångebro United, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Stångebro United could be found in Group 19 together with PFC Botev, Eds FF and Nordstrand IF 1. Stångebro United made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Sandarna BK, which they won with 3-0. Thereby Stångebro United won the entire Play off B in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. Stångebro United comes from Linköping which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Åtvidabergs FF, Mjölby Södra IF, Tallboda IF, Tallboda IF/Vikingstad, Mjölby AI/FF, Linköping Kenty DFF, BK Ljungsbro, BK Derby, BK Tinnis and AFK Linköping).
