Lekstorps IF

Lekstorps IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Lekstorps IF, 41 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Lekstorps IF could be found in Group 8 together with Stjarnan, Pierrefond WF and Värmdö IF. Lekstorps IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against JyPK 02 United with 3-4. In the Final, JyPK 02 United won over AIK FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Lekstorps IF also participated in Girls 12 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/4 Final in G12 Play off A, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna 1 with 1-4. Lekstorps comes from Gråbo which lies approximately 24 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gråbo does also provide 79 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Balltorps/KSK, Älvängens IK, Holmalunds IF, Lindome GIF, Älvsborg FF, Mossens BK, Näsets SK/Utsikten, Näsets SK, Sjömarkens IF and Finlandia-Pallo AIF).
