In addition to Lyn Fotball, 15 other teams from 5 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Lyn Fotball could be found in Group 2 together with Kristianstads DFF, AIK FF and Boulder, F.C.. Lyn Fotball continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FC Rosengård with 6-7. In the Final, FC Rosengård won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17).
