In addition to AIK FF, 15 other teams from 6 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof AIK FF could be found in Group 2 together with Kristianstads DFF, Lyn Fotball and Boulder, F.C.. AIK FF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Eskilstuna United DFF with 2-3. In the Final, FC Rosengård won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17).
