Syrianska IF

Syrianska IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Syrianska IF, 196 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Syrianska IF could be found in Group 39 together with Utpal Shanghvi School 2, Hisingsbacka FC and Stallarholmens SK. Syrianska IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against De la Salle College with 2-3. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over Hammarby IF Vit and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Syrianska comes from Västerås which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Triangelns IK, IFK Västerås FK, Västerås SK Ungdom, Skiljebo SK, Fanna BK, Västerås IK, Dingtuna GIF, Irsta IF, Enköpings SK and Eskilstuna Södra FF).
