Mjölby Södra IF

Mjölby Södra IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Mjölby Södra IF, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Mjölby Södra IF could be found in Group 12 together with Dalen/KFF, Stars'n Stripes and Academy of Baghdad. Mjölby Södra IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against CA Intercups Mexico with 1-4. In the Final, Vake-WIT won over Heikendorfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Mjölby Södra comes from Mjölby which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mjölby does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Borens IK, BK Derby, Motala AIF, Stångebro United, BK Ljungsbro, FC Linköping City, Hjulsbro IK, Tranås FF, Mjölby AI/FF and Linköpings FC).
