Academy of Baghdad was one of three clubs from Jordan that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Academy of Baghdad, 132 other teams from 25 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Academy of Baghdad could be found in Group 12 together with Mjölby Södra IF, Dalen/KFF and Stars'n Stripes. Academy of Baghdad continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Bjärreds IF with 0-1. In the Final, Vake-WIT won over Heikendorfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Academy of Baghdad also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/16 Final in B18 Play off B, but lost it against Bend Senior High School with 4-5. Academy of Baghdad comes from Amman which lies approximately 3400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Amman does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Jordan Knights FA and FISA Jordan).
