Essviks AIF

Essviks AIF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Essviks AIF, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Essviks AIF could be found in Group 53 together with IF Elfsborg, TSV Bassum eV and Cleveland Whitecaps. Essviks AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 53. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 3-5. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over ACBB Paris and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Essviks AIF comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 590 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Kubikenborgs IF, Selånger FK, IFK Timrå, Sundsvalls DFF and Medskogsbron BK).
