Cleveland Whitecaps

Cleveland Whitecaps was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Cleveland Whitecaps, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Cleveland Whitecaps could be found in Group 53 together with Essviks AIF, IF Elfsborg and TSV Bassum eV. Cleveland Whitecaps continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 53. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ramlösa Södra FF 1 with 4-5. In the Final, Lørenskog IF won over Bromstens IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Cleveland Whitecaps comes from Independence which lies approximately 6400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Cleveland Whitecaps, the club Samba Soccer Club does also originate from the area around Independence.
