Morön BK

Morön BK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Morön BK, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Morön BK could be found in Group 22 together with Oppsal IF, Dingtuna GIF and Vaksala SK. Morön BK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Texas Spirit SC with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Västerås FK won over Tölö IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Morön comes from Skellefteå which lies approximately 920 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Morön BK, the club Burträsk FF does also originate from the area around Skellefteå.
