Dingtuna GIF

Dingtuna GIF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Dingtuna GIF, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Dingtuna GIF could be found in Group 22 together with Morön BK, Oppsal IF and Vaksala SK. Dingtuna GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Selånger FK with 0-4. In the Final, Spjutstorps IF won over Tyresö FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Dingtuna GIF comes from Västerås which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Triangelns IK, IFK Västerås FK, Västerås SK Ungdom, Skiljebo SK, Fanna BK, Västerås IK, Irsta IF, Enköpings SK, Eskilstuna Södra FF and Eskilstuna City FK).
