Askim FK

Askim FK was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Askim FK, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Askim FK could be found in Group 21 together with FK Karlskrona, Järla IF and Hjulsbro IK. Askim FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Landvetter IF 2 with 1-3. In the Final, Spjutstorps IF won over Tyresö FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Askim FK comes from Askim which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Askim does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Follo FK, Lørenskog IF, SK Sprint-Jeløy and Rapid Athene).
