Hjulsbro IK

Hjulsbro IK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Hjulsbro IK, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Hjulsbro IK could be found in Group 21 together with Askim FK, FK Karlskrona and Järla IF. Hjulsbro IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Luleå Damfotboll with 0-3. In the Final, Spjutstorps IF won over Tyresö FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Hjulsbro comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: BK Derby, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, BK Ljungsbro, FC Linköping City, Mjölby AI/FF, Mjölby Södra IF, Norrköping, IFK, Linköpings FC and AFK Linköping).
